Business across Lancashire are being urged to enter Lancashire Business View’s Red Rose Awards before the deadline of Friday 20 August 2021.
The awards will help businesses across the county to stop and review what they have overcome and achieved throughout the pandemic and share their stories of resilience.
Two Zero is sponsoring the Scale-up Award. This award is open to Lancashire businesses that can demonstrate at least a 20 per cent increase in turnover in their latest financial year.
Two Zero’s programme manager, Amin Vepari, said; “There is no doubt that 2020 was a year like no other. The pandemic has brought new challenges, new opportunities, new ways of working.
“Every business has a story to tell. And through this Red Rose Award we want to support, share and celebrate the scale-up success stories from across the county.”
To be considered in this category, the judges are looking for a sense of trajectory; a business that understands how to manage scale-up, whether it’s by acquisition or organic means; and one with a plan for the growth story to continue.
Other new and updated awards include the Resilience Award, Go Green Award, Built Environment Award, Made in Lancashire Award, Marketing Agency Award and Professional Services Award.
Finalists of all the awards will be invited to a masterclass designed to help them get the very most from the opportunity and impress the judges with training sponsor Sales Geek. And winners will benefit from a further Sales Geek session plus access to a suite of expert support on offer from category sponsors to support areas such as legal, financial, recruitment, growth support and training.
Usually taking place in March, due to the pandemic the awards this year will take place on 25 November at Winter Gardens Blackpool.
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: “Now, more than ever, businesses across the county need to celebrate their extraordinary resilience and success.
“After a tough 18 months we do hope businesses will grasp this opportunity to shout about how they’ve overcome the challenges of the pandemic as we look to the future.
