Lancashire’s high growth businesses are being encouraged to take part in an influential survey which will help shape the UK’s scaleup support landscape in the coming years.
The ScaleUp Institute’s Scaleup Survey, now in its tenth year, aims to understand the barriers that scaleup businesses face so the ScaleUp Institute can work with policy makers and other partners to remove these.
It is the largest survey of UK scaleups, with hundreds of businesses taking part annually.
Amin Vepari, business finance and scaleup lead, Lancashire County Council, said: “In previous years, insights from this annual survey have informed developments such as the Scaleup Visa, the Future Fund Breakthrough, reforms to unlock institutional capital as well as new innovation and export strategies.
“They have also informed the expansion of government policies such as the Regional Funds and agencies such as Innovate UK.
“This is an excellent opportunity to ensure the needs of Lancashire’s high growth companies are heard in national policy-shaping discussions – I would urge all fast-growing Lancashire businesses to participate.”
The deadline for completion of the survey is October 1.
