Two Zero to sponsor Sub36 Young Professional Award

Lancashire’s best young professionals and entrepreneurs are being encouraged to gain recognition for their achievements at Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 Awards.

The Sub36 Awards celebrates the most exciting talent emerging from the Lancashire business community and will take place online this year with a virtual ceremony on October 22.

Two Zero has been announced as category sponsor for this year’s Professional of the Year award which aims to recognise young people doing great things within Lancashire’s professional services industry.

Nominations close on August 17 and the deadline for entries is August 28.

Amin Vepari, programme manager, Two Zero said: “Two Zero is about building strong foundations for a successful and resilient fast-growing business. A key ingredient of this is having ambitious and skilled people to drive Lancashire forward now and in future.

“The professional services industry is key to the county’s economy and we are delighted to be partnering with Lancashire Business View and Sub36 to recognise the achievements of brilliant and ambitious young people in Lancashire.”

The Sub36 Awards has categories relevant to all Lancashire-based businesses and gives young people the opportunity to showcase themselves to the Lancashire community.

Winners will gain access to an expanded support package with bespoke mentoring delivered by Northern Mentoring Programme, sales support with Sales Geek and funding and growth support via Rosebud, the official funding partner, which is new for 2020.

Speaking about the awards’ online format this year, Sub36 founder and publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine, Richard Slater said: “As much as we miss face-to-face networking with the fantastic people of Lancashire, we simply couldn’t predict the situation come September and October in bringing guests together in a safe environment at an event of this nature.

“But, even in these times, there is still so much to celebrate, which is why the show must go on – and we are already full of ideas that are going to make this an online event like no other.”
